Booking your hotel room early is highly advisable.
Availability and rates are not guaranteed afterwards.
July 8 - deadline for uploading all slides and videos, for all speakers.
This is primarily an in-person conference, but the
talks will be streamed live on the TUG YouTube Channel, with
no charge or required registration. The channel will be monitored during
the conference for questions or comments to relay to the speakers.
Donations to help cover the (not inconsiderable) streaming expenses
are greatly appreciated! At your convenience, either:
TUG conference participants can book online at the Alt Hotel Calgary East Village. Rooms are
available to our group at a discounted rate for the period of July
13–22, 2026.
The conference program will take place at this hotel. Please do stay
here if at all possible, both for your convenience and to help TUG and
the conference.
Meals
The opening reception will be at the hotel,
Thursday July 16, 17:00-19:00.
Breakfast is not included with the hotel reservation, but available
at the hotel.
Lunches and breaks will be provided during the conference,
July 17-19, at no additional charge beyond the registration fee.
Dinners are not included with the conference registration or hotel
reservation, but are available at the hotel and restaurants nearby. See
the food section on the local information
page for some ideas.
We'll have a banquet on Saturday or Sunday
evening, location tbd.
